From the first day I started attending and working at New Venture, the thing that impressed me the most was the friendliness and the genuineness of the people. Now I get to serve in one of the friendliest places on campus. The Connections Cafe has so much to offer. Fellowship with family and friends, delicious food prepared by our cook Sandra, and fantastic music to listen to. I am so glad Pastor Shawn had a vision of a café for New Venture! I am thrilled to be hosting as your "Café Mama" and want to serve you in any way I can. So please, drop by the café, introduce yourself to me and stay a while. As the café evolves, I am excited about the possibilities before us; like new menu ideas, events, and so much more. I praise God for this opportunity and strive to do it with excellence and passion. Are you not worth more much more than they?” Matthew 6:25-26 Favorite Movie: The Holiday with Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz. Favorite Food: Mexican – Love a variety of salsas!!!! Favorite Book: Cookbooks (all kinds). I am not really a reader (unfortunately). Most interesting travel destination you’ve been to: Sedona Arizona, Grand Canyon (love Hawaii too though). Hobbies: Love cooking a variety of foods and trying new recipes; Listening to music and attending concerts – from Jazz to Country. Phrase to describe yourself in High School: I was extremely shy and quiet. Phrase to describe yourself now: Not quiet anymore! Love to meet new people and am very inquisitive about others. Something we’d never guess about you: Love to plan parties and decorate/redecorate my house.
