Since attending New Venture’s first ‘Sunrise on the Shore’ service over 20 years ago, I knew this was a remarkable church that I could call home. After being blessed with a wonderful husband and two precious children years later, today our family is still proud to call New Venture our church home. I truly believe God is working throughout New Venture and our entire staff to accomplish His awesome purpose and I feel honored to be a part of this great work. I am blessed to use my experience in communications, marketing and public relations to assist the Marketing Department, and in helping people become Connected to God and to each other by finding their place to belong here at NVCF. Favorite Bible Verse: “For all things work together for good, for those who love the Lord and called according to his purpose.” – Romans 8:28 Favorite Movie: Can’t choose just one; Fireproof, Enchanted, A Walk to Remember, The Count of Monte Cristo, to name a few… Favorite Food: Always a tie between Mexican and Italian food. Favorite Book: Holy Bible, Power of a Praying Parent, The 5,000 Year Leap, and God Gave Us You. Most interesting travel destination you’ve been to: Toss up between Costa Rica and Jamaica. Hobbies: Spending as much time with my family as possible, working out, jazz, lyrical and ballet dance, reading, and just good old-fashioned relaxing. . Phrase to describe yourself in High School: The quiet sophisticate. Phrase to describe yourself now: A complete and thoroughly blessed woman. Something we’d never guess about you: No one would ever guess I’m Danish, especially with my last name. And, I confess, I’m a total foodie and chocoholic.
