New Venture was founded on prayer, and it remains a core element to the church’s focus. Prayer is the way we communicate with God, and it’s effective in moving the Hand of God.

The four main prayer teams at New Venture specialize in praying for a wide range of needs and in a variety of circumstances.
Victory in Prayer: Every Wednesday
This prayer team meets every Wednesday night on campus at 6:30 pm in room 129 to pray over our church family’s prayer requests and other specific prayer needs.
Great Hour of Prayer: First Wednesday of every month
The Victory in Prayer team also hosts “One Great Hour of Prayer” the first Wednesday of each month. This event takes place in the main sanctuary at 7:00 pm. This special time of group prayer and worship is open to all who need prayer or would like to pray on behalf of the church family, community & nation. Great things happen when we come together and pray.

This prayer team is available for receiving emergency prayer requests. Prayer requests are sent via email or telephone to the team. The requests are considered confidential and treated with respect.

This team makes itself available to pray with men and women immediately following each celebration service. As the closing prayer is said, this team comes forward and stands at floor level around the perimeter of the auditorium stage to pray with those who have made first time decisions for Christ or are in need of prayer of any kind.

This team prays together as the celebration service or other special events are in progress. The team prays as intercessors to our Heavenly Father requesting divine protection from any plans or attacks that the enemy may have to disrupt His work on campus. These prayer warriors also assist the prayer partners at the end of the service to pray with those who come forward for special individualized prayer.
