| Kid’s World: Exceptional Kids Class
Serving Families and Children touched by Autism New Venture is committed to serving the needs of families with special needs. We offer the Exceptional Kid’s Class every Sunday morning at 10:30am in room 123. This program is structured for children on the autism spectrum, ages 2-12. Our team of dedicated Partners have been specially trained to help meet the needs of children and families who have been touched by Autism. The class features: - A visual (PEC) system for those who need it - Biblical lessons with modified visual & verbal presentation - 1:1 or 2:1 ratio of adults to students allowing for wonderful class interaction - Focus on communication & sensory centers In order to provide proper adult to child ratios, we ask parents to phone ahead and reserve a place for each child, each week. Please call ahead on your initial visit as well. At least one parent is required to remain with their child on your initial visit. This helps us to get to know the specific needs of your child and allows you to attend the adult service on subsequent visits. |
