Kid’s World: Becoming a Partner

Join the Kid’s World Team
Kid’s World staff partners with caring adults and older students to meet the needs of kids at all services and events. All of our Partners are screened, trained, and carefully selected to provide a safe and secure environment for kids.

We are continually growing and always looking for new Partners to join our team. You don’t need experience, as we will train you and serve alongside of you every step of the way.

Parents are highly encouraged to participate in their child’s spiritual growth by serving in Kid’s World, at least once every 6 weeks. However, you don’t have to be a parent to be a Partner. Additionally, Student Partners (Grades 6-12) are an important part of our team and encouraged to apply.

Current Positions Elementary (Grades 1-5)

KW Worship Aid (20 minutes prior to service and 20 minutes into service.)
Participate in leading children in singing video praise songs.

KW AV Tech (20 minutes prior to service, during service & 20 minutes after)
Use audio, lighting, and computer equipment to assist with the service.

KW Drama Team (20 minutes prior to service and during service)
Participate in drama skits, costume characters, or puppets as part of the weekend service.

KW Game Leader (20 minutes prior to service and during service)
Lead pre-planned games during the weekend service.

KW Team Leader (20 minutes prior to service and during service)
Monitor groups of children throughout service and lead participation by example.

Current Positions Early Childhood (Infants – Kindergarten)
Nursery Leader (20 minutes prior to service, during service & 20 minutes after)
Nurture and supervise infants and crawlers during service.

EC Class Leader 2’s/3’sand 4’s/5’s (20 minutes prior to service, during service & 20 minutes after)
Lead children through lesson plans and activities.

EC Class Aid (20 minutes prior to service, during service & 20 minutes after)
Support Class Leaders and assist children during lessons
and activities.

EC Worship Aid (During service)
Lead EC children in singing video praise songs.

EC Storyteller (During service)
Read Bible stories to children ages Toddler – Kindergarten

Kid’s World Support Team Positions
Set Up Crew (One hour prior to the start of service.)
Assist in classroom and environment set up, prep, and organizing supplies.

Greeter (20 minutes before & 20 minutes after service starts)
Welcome parents & direct them to the first available computer.

Registration (20 minutes before & 20 minutes after service starts)
Register children by computer and present ID card to parents.

First Time Host & Greeter (20 minutes before & 20 minutes after service starts)
Escort first time families to the appropriate classrooms and to the sanctuary.

Activities Center Monitor (20 minutes before service starts)
Supervise children prior to the start of service while they play in our indoor playground.

KW Store Monitor (20 minutes before service starts and 20 min after service)
Supervise children prior to the start of service while they make purchases with their Bible Bucks, assisted by 2-3 4th/5th graders.

Tear Down Crew (20 minutes after service ends)
Assist with removal and storage and equipment and supplies and light clean up as needed.
